Here we have a prototype for online data organization of musical works. This prototype is based on academic research at Drama Lab at The University of Brasilia. It was sponsored by National Research Bureau(CNPq). We have chosen the musical drama David to be the material for this prototype. David has opened at University of Brasilia on November 28, 2002, and it was sponsored by State cultural and art fund.
David is the second part of a trilogy based on biblical famous three kings. All figures are reinterpreted following issues of contemporary Brazil's political and social crisis. In David, songs and dances present how a group of social bandits is reunited and their crimes. David is the leader of the outlaws, the king of bandits. His figure is a variation of several social bandits as Robin Hood and Lampião. They arise in poor social conditions, in contexts of oppression, as vigilantes, having their own justice codes.
This online platform provides several kinds of files based on David: book(script), songs (music sheet and sound files), videos, pictures and some extra material as interviews, programme (booklet) , and research papers. All files are distributed according to the temporal order of the parts of the show, that was divided into 9 parts or sequences.
